Patricia R. Doxsey reports in The Daily Freeman that U.S. Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand will hold a town hall meeting Aug. 26 in Kingston. Gillibrand has hosted six town hall meetings this year around the state, while local Rep. John Faso (R-Kinderhook) has not held any, instead only appearing at limited-attendance events with many rules. Gillibrand will be at George Washington Elementary School at 67 Wall St. from 3:15 to 4:30 p.m. in the A.J. Boyd Auditorium. RSVPs are required at www.gillibrand.senate.gov/kingstontownhall.
