Attendance up at Thomas Cole House
Jun 20, 2019 12:33 am
The Daily Freeman reports that the Thomas Cole National Historic Site in Catskill paid for a study that claims the location has "an economic impact on the local economy amounting to $2,280,912 in 2018." While that speculation may be inexact, attendance at the Thomas Cole House is up 73 percent from 2010, to 125,949 last year. The economic impact in the study includes spending by the organization on employees and operations, spending by visitors while in the local area, and the spending by businesses that "serve the organization and its visitors."
