While that speculation may be inexact, attendance at the Thomas Cole House is up 73 percent from 2010, to 125,949 last year. The economic impact in the study includes spending by the organization on employees and operations, spending by visitors while in the local area, and the spending by businesses that "serve the organization and its visitors."
