Cuomo to sign order sending ballots to everyone for June election

Zack Fink is reporting for Spectrum News Gov. Andrew Cuomo will issue an executive order sending ballots to all registered voters in New York, making it possible for them to vote by mail in the June 23 election amid the coronavirus pandemic, NY1 learned April 20. Earlier this month, Cuomo expanded absentee voting for the election, but voters would still be required o apply for the ballot by mail. The new order will automatically send ballots to all registered voters. June 23 is primary day in New York state, with dozens of candidates on the ballot, as well as the state’s presidential primary.
