Gillibrand says she wants to stay in Senate

Chris Sommerfeldt reports in the New York Daily News that Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, asked at a debate Oct. 25 with Republican opponent Chele Farley said, “I will serve my six-year term,” when asked about her presidential ambitions. “Honestly, I don’t believe that,” Farley responded at the debate held by ABC News in New York City. The two also disagreed about the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency, which Farley defended and Gillibrand wants to disband. Farley is trailing Gillibrand by 25 percentage points in the latest Quinnipac University poll of the contest. Read the full story in the New York Daily News.
