Faso won't vote for Biden in November
Aug 25, 2020 5:30 am
Emilie Munson reports in the Times Union that while several Republicans who used to hold Congressional seats in New York announced Aug. 24 that they are voting for Democrat Joe Biden for president, John Faso is not one of them. Faso formerly represented the 19th Congressional District, and was endorsed by Donald Trump in Faso's campaign against Democrat Antonio Delgado. “I definitely would not vote for Vice President Joe Biden and I most likely will vote for President Donald Trump," Faso said. In 2016, Faso said he voted for Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson. Other New York Republicans -- former U.S. Reps. Jim Walsh of Syracuse, Jack Quinn of Hamburg, and Susan Molinari of Staten Island -- did announce their support for Biden Aug. 24. Faso didn't think who he votes for would interest many. "I don’t think my endorsement or lack there of means anything," he said. "I’m not interested in making one.” Read more about this story in the Times Union.
