Michael DeMasi in the Albany Business Review reports that the Trader Joe's store has purchased the retail plaza on Wolf Road in Colonie where it has leased a storefront for the past 11 years. Representatives of the company could not be reached for comment if they planned to expand the store into the other spaces in the plaza. The California-based grocery chain bought the property for $5.03 million, according to a deed filed March 2 in the Albany County clerk's office.
