The Daily Freeman reports that at least one music promoter claims the Woodstock 50th anniversary concert at the Watkins Glen International speedway is back on, after reports of cancellation April 30. Michael Lang and Woodstock Ventures LLC said in a statement that, "Although our financial partner is withdrawing, we will of course be continuing with the planning of the festival and intend to bring on new partners." Tickets, at almost $500, were announced to go on sale April 22, but are not on sale so far. Watkins Glen is in central New York, far away from the festival's original location.
