Producer Paul Smart took up music programmer Tony Fallon's invitation to learn about the Irish card game, "25." Caught for the first time are the sounds of the game, attempts to explain its complexities (learned by most players when under six, by watching it played in their Irish homes), talk about the various work lives the local players have had -- from custodians and cooks to bartenders and teachers, to the many ways in which the game has helped them through life. Music is happenstance, the stories meandering... like a regular card night.
