Andrea Macko reports for Porcupine Soup that Durham's Hull-O-Farm is now included on the New York State Historic Business Preservation Registry. The more than 200-year-old farm is already designated as a National Bicentennial Farm, and on July 12, State Senator Michelle Hinchey and Assemblymember Chris Tague turned out the the farm for the new honor. John Hull and his wife Sally were the original owners of the farm, and John was a Revolutionary War patriot. Now the farm produces more than two million pounds of milk each year. In 1990, the farm added the Hull-O Farms Pheasant Preserve, a state licensed pheasant preserve. Tague said, “The family and farm have both adapted to whatever the world throws at it while still providing the best farm experience to their customers, and it is award-worthy."
