Vaccination rates above 20 percent locally

New York State is reporting that over 20 percent of adults in the upper Hudson Valley have received at least one shot of the COVID-19 vaccine. Greene County is at the lowest percentage, at 20.5 percent. In Columbia County, the number is up to 25.2 percent. Ulster County is at 24.5 percent, while Dutchess County is at 22.2 percent. Albany County has 28.3 percent of its adult population with at least one shot, and there are 24.6 percent at least partially vaccinated in Rensselaer County. The news is not so good in Delaware County, at 18.3 percent, and Schoharie County, at 19.8 percent.
