Greenville voters to decide on $34.2 billion budget

Nancy Kern reports for Columbia-Greene Media that Greenville voters must decide whether to approve a proposed $34,227,771 school budget for next year, at the May 16 election. The proposed budget is $530,329 larger than last year, with a 2.47 percent increase in the property tax levy. The plan includes opening the school’s Fitness Room to the community two evenings a week.
