Robert Harding reports for Auburn Publications that President Donald Trump is coming to central New York next week. The president is expected to hold an event Aug. 13 with Rep. Claudia Tenney, a Utica-area Republican. And Trump will also visit Fort Drum, a U.S. Army installation in Jefferson County with Rep. Elise Stefanik. Both Republicans hope Trump's visit will help them in their November re-election campaigns. At Fort Drum, Trump will hold a ceremony to sign the National Defense Authorization Act, a $716 billion defense policy bill that Congress passed last week.
