H. Rose Schneider in The Altamont Enterprise that new Albany County Department of Public Works Commissioner Lisa Ramundo has several projects planned for the southern part of the county. Now that there is warmer weather her department is working to resurface 25 miles of county roads, replace three culverts in Westerlo, and reconstruct two bridges in Berne. Ramundo is also concentrating on consolidation, with the Knox supervisor looking to share a new highway garage with the county, and Berne considering merging services with the county, and the Voorheesville School District is thinking about letting the county maintain its fleet of vehicles.
