Cheyenne MacDonald is reporting for DailyMail [dot] com the Facebook Messenger app crashed November 19, leaving users from the U.S. to the UK unable to access the service. Facebook's main site also appeared to be affected by the outage, though not as severely as the chat app. Just days before Facebook suffered a total blackout that affected the social media site, as well as WhatsApp and Instagram. Messenger users in Europe and the U.S. west coast were the hardest hit. Approximately 49 percent of users reported being unable to connect to Facebook servers on November 19.
