The Daily Freeman reports that, with a little bit of snow on the ground at higher elevations, the state Department of Motor Vehicles is reminding New Yorkers to register their snowmobiles. Just like cars, all snowmobiles in New York must be registered and marked with a validation sticker. The department allows snowmobilers to renew registrations online at https://dmv.ny.gov/registration/register-snowmobile, by mail or in person at a DMV office.
