The National Weather Service predicts it will be cold. The Albany NWS issued a Wind Chill Advisory through 9 a.m. for Western Greene County, where wind chills could be as low as -24. The forecast Wednesday for Maplecrest includes a slight chance of snow showers after 4 p.m. Increasing clouds, with a high near 21. Wind chill values as low as -20. West wind 7 to 13 mph becoming south. Wednesday night there is also a slight chance of snow showers, with a low around 18. The forecast for the rest of the week:
• Thursday: A chance of snow showers, mainly after 1 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 29, and an overnight low of 24.
• Friday: Mostly cloudy and warmer, with a high near 38.
