Hudson Mayor Tiffany Martin Hamilton declared on Facebook Wed., Nov. 30, parking is free in the city during the month of December. “I hereby suspend the placing of coin(s) in the parking meters throughout the City of Hudson, which includes on-street and off-street meters” wrote Hamilton in a memo addressed to Police Commissioner Martha Harvey and Chief of Police Ed Moore. The meters on South Front Street at the Amtrak station, however, still need to be fed.
