Library budget on ballot for Kinderhook, Stuyvesant voters

Logan Weiss for Columbia-Greene Media reports that voters Nov. 6 in Kinderhook and Stuyvesant face a 19.9 percent increase in the Kinderhook Memorial Library's budget. This year $280,830 of the proposed $335,718 operating budget will comes from Kinderhook and Stuyvesant. Kinderhook would increase its part of the budget from $197,069 to $246,069, while Stuyvesant will increase from $27,840 to $34,761. Columbia County chips in $7,173 to the budget.
