Police activity triggers shelter-in-place at Hudson schools

Amanda Purcell is reporting for Columbia-Greene Media police activity on Harry Avenue in Hudson April 3 resulted in the Hudson City School District imposing a shelter-in-place warning for 15 minutes, beginning at approximately 10 a.m. “At no time did we believe the school was in danger however we called the shelter-in-place as a safety precaution. It was lifted at 10:15 a.m. and school returned to normal routine,” school officials reported. Details on the incident were not immediately available, but Hudson Police Chief L.
