Police demonstration at school Wednesday

The Greenville Pioneer reports that school will not be in session June 26 when law enforcement demonstrations are held at Cairo-Durham Elementary School. School lets out for the summer the day before, and police officials are telling the public that seeing many official vehicles at the school should not be alarming. Officials from the Greene County Sheriff‘s office are showing school staff how to perform sweeps and other activities related to possible threats in the school.
