The Daily Freeman is reporting the Kingston Oil Supply Co., also known as Kosco, has sold its propane division to Paraco Gas, according to a press release. Paraco Gas is a family-owned and operated business and the largest independent propane supplier in the Northeast. Paraco has been serving the Hudson Valley for more than 40 years, while Kosco has been serving the region for nearly 60 years. The Kosco fuel oil operation will continue to operate under the leadership of the Motzkin family. Kosco is based in Saugerties; Paraco Gas is in Rye Brook, Westchester Co.
