Hudson goes for books

May 03, 2011 1:35 am
There will be a lot of talk this week on WGXC about books as the annual Hudson Children's Book Festival is Saturday. For the third year in a row, it will bring together the Hudson Valley's best authors for children at Hudson High School. Today, Tue. May 3, on "The WGXC Afternoon Show," Ann Forbes Cooper and Richard Roth will speak with children's animator and musician Tony Caio, creator of "The Rattles Band," and children's author Barbara Lehman. Both will be at the Hudson Children's Book Festival too. Also in Hudson book news, the Hudson Area Library's staff and Board of Trustees are now writing book reviews. Click on "Reviews" at the library website.

Students at Hudson High School recorded an original song, "In a Book," for the Children's Book Festival. Click here to listen to the song, recorded at Riverfront Studios in Hudson.
