Richard Moody is reporting for Columbia-Greene Media the seven Democrats hoping to run in the November general election will debate June 4 in Hudson. Jeffrey Beals, Dave Clegg, Erin Collier, Antonio Delgado, Brian Flynn, Gareth Rhodes and Pat Ryan are all scheduled to participate. The debate will be moderated by the League of Women Voters of Rensselaer County, and is sponsored by the Columbia County Democratic Committee and the Chatham Democrats. The candidates debated May 31 at an event sponsored by WAMC-FM in Albany. The winner of the June 26 Democratic primary will go on to face first-term Congressman John Faso, a Republican, from Kinderhook, on November 6.
