Boblo Island Redux is a half hour collage of scenes and sounds from theatre project currently in development at The Theatre Center in Toronto Canada. The project centers around Boblo Island a piece of land in the Detriot river with an incredible history, now virtually abandoned and the future sight of an elite gated community the island was once the last stop on the underground railroad, used for rum running during prohibition, and for decades was the home of a large amusement park that now lies in ruins. Through the magic of radio waves Boblo Island Redux explores parts of this history and the traces of memory they leave behind.
