The Centers for Disease Control recommended Sept. 12 that everyone six months and older get an updated COVID-19 vaccine against the latest strain of COVID-19, with updated vaccines from Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna available later this week. Mid-Hudson News reports that Gov. Kathy Hochul also urged everyone to get the new vaccination on Sept. 13. Hochul said, “Take the right precautions and we can handle this. There is no need to be careless. We have the tools we need – treatment, tests, masks, but the best, most effective way to deal with this is getting the vaccine....
