Eoin Higgins reports in The Berkshire Eagle that The Music Store in Great Barrington, MA is closing. "Competition from the internet and changing shopping habits have made it impossible to continue," shop owners Claudia d'Alessandro and David Reed said in a statement Jan. 3. The store specialized in acoustic instruments with the largest ukulele collection in "75 miles in any direction," according to the owners. The store closes Jan. 31.
