Library election in Coxsackie next week

Melanie Lekocevic reports in The Daily Mail voters will go to the polls next week in Coxsackie to vote on a proposed budget for Heermance Memorial Library. The 2013 spending plan totals $235,000. Under the plan, expenses decreased four percent. Twenty percent of the budget comes from the tax levy. Voters will also be asked to elect three members to the library's nine-member Board of Trustees. This year the election is uncontested. Three incumbents, Claudine Serazio-West, Regina McGrath and Catherine Benson are running unopposed.
