The Hudson High School boys basketball team remained undefeated Feb. 22, defeating Mekeel Christian Academy 56 to 54, in the Section II, Class B playoffs at the Glens Falls Civic Center. The team, ranked fourth, now play in the finals at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 26 against Glens Falls, ranked second, again at the Glens Falls Civic Center. The team is now 23-0 for the season. The Hudson High girls basketball team was also undefeated, until they lost in the playoffs Feb. 20 to Voorheesville 57 to 48. In other local basketball news, former Glens Falls standout point guard Jimmer Fredette made his latest NBA return on a ten-day contract with the New York Knicks Feb. 22, playing two minutes and making one three-point shot in one attempt.
