AG's office buys back 47 guns in Kingston

MidHudson News is reporting one assault rifle, 15 handguns, 17 rifles and shotguns and 14 non-working or antique guns were turned in to the Kingston City Police Department on June 5, during a gun buyback program sponsored by state Attorney General Letitia James’ office. The 47 weapons were redeemed for gift cards provided by the AG’s office when the weapons were handed over with no questions asked. Since taking office in 2019, James’ office has taken close to 1,000 firearms off the streets statewide through gun buyback programs. Read the full story at MidHudsonNews [dot] com.
