Melanie Lekocevic reports for Capital Region Independent Media in the Greenville Pioneer that Cairo-Durham High School brought on Dr. Paula T. McKeown as principal in July. In March, Nick Fitzgerald left the position, to become superintendent for the Canajoharie Board of Education. The Greenville Pioneer story says McKeown has previously been a high school principal and college professor, but does not specify where she had those jobs. “My priorities include listening, learning and asking questions to identify successes and challenges,” McKeown told the newspaper.
