Liz Montgomery reports for Porcupine Soup that at the June 6 Hudson Board of Education meeting, the school system named Cheryl Rabinowitz, Catskill’s longtime middle school principal and district director of technology, interim superintendent of the Hudson City School District. Rabinowitz replaces Dr. Lisamarie Spindler, who left as the district’s superintendent after just more than a year in the role. Hudson Board of Education President Willette Jones said of Rabinowitz, “Her collaborative approach and commitment to maintaining a safe, welcoming and engaging educational environment will greatly benefit our school district and community.” Read more about this story in Porcupine Soup.
