MidHudsonNews [dot] com is reporting Democrat Joseph Ruggiero has picked the endorsement of the Dutchess County Central Labor Council in his bid to unseat incumbent Republican Dutchess County Executive Marcus Molinaro. The council represents thousands of working families in the county. “Joe Ruggiero is what Dutchess County needs during these times,” said Roberto Pinto, president of the labor council. “...We believe Joe is the person to take the county executive office and make it a vehicle for change and a symbol of effective county government.” Ruggiero said everyone is “fighting to give the working families in Dutchess a better quality of life.
