C-GCC classes may come to Hunter

Ryan Anglim in The Windham Journal reports that the Mountain Library and Hunter-Tannersville schools may host Columbia-Greene Community College adult classes in the spring. Mountaintop Library Director Elane Farley said the entire plan is not confirmed yet, but C-GCC should have computer and photography classes in spring with construction on the rooms for the classes expected after Thanksgiving. The classes will not receive college credit. HTC schools currently hold four classes for college credit, if the students pay the discounted rate of $170, according to Superintendent of Schools Dr. Patrick Darfler-Sweeney.
