State looking for comments about Lake Taghkanic State Park
Lauren Stanforth reports in the Times Union that New York's Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation wants input for a new master plan for Lake Taghkanic State Park. There will be two meetings about the Columbia County park that is located in the towns of Taghkanic and Gallatin. There will be an online meeting from 2 to 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 31. Send an email to laketaghkanic.plan@parks.ny.gov to get a registration link to attend online. Or turnout for a brief presentation followed by a discussion from 6 to 7:30 p.m on Thursday, Nov. 2 at Taghkanic Fire Co. #1, at 631 Old Route 82 in Taghkanic.
