The Altamont Enterprise reports that Albany County has a new hotline for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program recipients to call for assistance from the county’s Regional Immigration Assistance Center. The toll-free number 1-833-DREAMRS (1-833-373-2677) opened Sept. 13 for anyone seeking help about the DACA program, application information, and renewals. On Sept. 5, Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced the DACA program would end.
