Schumer, Tonko, Delgado stump for three new limo safety bills

Matt Hunter reports for Spectrum News that on Oct. 3, New York Senator Chuck Schumer, and Reps. Paul Tonko and Antonio Delgado, announced three bills set to be introduced in Congress to address limousine safety, almost a year after 20 people died in a limo crash in Schoharie. The representatives were touting the SAFE Limos Act, the Take Unsafe Limos Off the Road Act, and the End the Limo Loophole Act. The Oct. 6, 2018 Schoharie accident took place at the intersection of state routes 30 and 30A.
