H. Rose Schneider reports in the Altamont Enterprise that the Rensselaerville Town Board is set to repair the dam that is part of the town's water system. The dam holds back water from Lake Myosotis in the privately-owned Edward Niles Huyck Preserve, and drains into the hamlet of Rensselaerville's water supply. Town board members have talked with representatives of the engineering firm Weston & Sampson about what needs to be fixed.
