Hudson declares snow emergency
The city of Hudson has declared a snow emergency in advance of the anticipated arrival of Winter Storm Stella, beginning Tue., Mar. 14. At 12 a.m., all vehicles must be parked on the even side of the street for 20 hours. Beginning at 8 p.m., Tuesday, cars then must be moved to the odd side of the street and parked for 22 hours. Parking is permitted on only one side of the street in order to facilitate the maintenance or removal of snow, and to allow ample space for passage of emergency vehicles. At 6 p.m., Wednesday, the snow emergency ends. Snow removal will begin at 12:01 a.m., Thursday and continue for 12 hours; the process will be repeated at 12:01 a.m., Friday for 12 hours.
