An extra hour of 2020 tonight
Oct 31, 2020 12:03 am
There is an extra hour of 2020 tonight at 2 a.m., as Daylight Savings Time returns. Folks should turn back their clocks at 2 a.m. Nov. 1, or upon waking up on Sunday. Also on Nov. 1 anyone over the age of 16 now must to buckle up wherever they are sitting in a vehicle. Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple said there will be a grace period for tickets through his agency, but when enforcement does begin, the passenger who fails to wear the seat belt will be given the $50 ticket. There is also a blue moon tonight, and an asteroid that will pass close to the earth on Nov. 2.
