Stewart Airport adds flights to Orlando, Charlestown

Mid-Hudson News reports that in February Breeze Airways says it will begin flights from New York Stewart International Airport to Orlando, Florida and Charlestown, South Carolina. Sen. Chuck Schumer and Rep. Pat Ryan were at the Orange County airport for the announcement. Heather Bell, president of the Orange County Chamber of Commerce, said, “Being able to commute directly to Orlando more often as well as Charlestown where there is great industry and economic development is a great huge win for Stewart and its partners.” The Orlando service will run on Thursdays and Sundays, the Charlestown flights will be on Fridays and Mondays.
