Audrey Matott is reporting in The Daily Mail the 60th annual Greene County Youth Fair opened Thurs., July 24. The yearly celebration provides the opportunity for the county's children and youth to show off their accomplishments. The event is organized by the Greene County Agricultural Society. New York State Assembly member Pete Lopez was present for the kick-off, as was state Sen. Cecilia Tkaczyk. The fair includes a livestock area, poultry tent and goat tent. The Indian River Olde Time Lumberjack Show, Bubble Trouble, Bugs and Animals and Buffalo Barfield are among the shows offered during the four-day event.
