Hudson hate crime?
May 05, 2010 11:39 pm
Andrew Amelinckx reports in the Register-Star about 40-year-old Hudson resident David N. DiBlasi, charged with a hate crime for allegedly assaulting a 29-year-old man because of his sexual orientation in the Seventh Street Park in Hudson at 2:52 a.m. Saturday morning. Hudson Police Officer Rodney Waithe charged DiBlasi with third-degree assault — hate crime, according to the story. "He was arraigned in Hudson City Court and remanded to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash or $2,000 bail bond and will appear again in court at a later date," Amelinckx writes.
