Stockport GOP announces November slate

The Register-Star is reporting the Stockport Republicans held the annual town caucus Thu., Jul. 30, at town hall. A total of 88 people attended and again selected incumbent town supervisor Matt Murrell as the GOP candidate in the general election. Robert Briggs, Sr. and John Leone are the party's choice to fill two open seats on the town board. Incumbent Harold Horner was selected to run for another term as town justice, as well as incumbent assessors Edward Hamm and Robert Jensen. Murrell, Briggs and Leone have also been endorsed by the Columbia County Conservative and Independence parties.
