A new report from comptroller Thomas Napoli’s office found that 93 New York bridges had a current safety rating as bad or worse than the recently demolished Champlain Bridge. In Greene County three bridges had low ratings: The Mill Hollow Road bridge over East Kill; the Smith Road crossing over Durham Creek; and the Sprucetown Road bridge over West Kill.
