High schools get new principals

The Daily Freeman reports that as classes gets under way this week, several local high schools have new principals.
Catskill High School's assistant principal Benjamin Bragg is taking over as the high school principal, replacing acting principal Patrick Wemitt. Bragg has only been with the Catskill school one year, but was previously the principal of St. Andrew's Public Middle School and Cario Middle School in Charleston, South Carolina. Cairo-Durham High School brought on Dr. Paula T. McKeown as principal in July after Nick Fitzgerald left the position, to become superintendent for the Canajoharie Board of Education. It was announced last week that Hudson High School principal Antonio "Tiney" Abitable is leaving in December to become the superintendent of the Lansingburgh Board of Education in Troy.
