Ahmet Kizilay
Ahmet Kizilay is a composer, sound artist and computer programmer from Istanbul, Turkey. He completed his undergraduate education in mathematics at Columbia University, where he discovered his passion for computer programming and computer music. After several years working as a professional programmer, he started his masters degree in composition at MIAM (The Center for Advanced Studies in Music) at Istanbul Technical University. At MIAM, he studied electroacoustic composition and sound design with Reuben DeLautour. His sound artwork has been displayed in the Sound Through Barriers exhibition in Colorado, and his compositions have been performed in the Borusan Art House and as part of the Sesin Yolculuğu festival in Istanbul.
