MidHudsonNews [dot] com is reporting the Dutchess County Conservative Committee has elected Fishkill resident Donald Minichino as its new chairperson. He takes over from Maureen Natrella, who did not seek re-election. An outspoken community activist and longtime member of the committee, Minichino plans to form a regional alliance with other Conservative leaders. “One of my goals is to reach out to [leaders in] Orange and Ulster [counties]. We have some Assembly districts and congressional districts that cross the lines and we are going to pool our thoughts together and see what we can do as a co-op," he said.
