Heather Bellow reports in The Berkshire Eagle that there was a second regional railroad accident on Aug. 4, with a train worker struck by track equipment near Great Barrington who died from their injuries. Officials did not say whether the equipment involved at the tracks near Lime Kiln Road in Sheffield in the accident belongs to Housatonic Railroad Co., or the Massachusetts Department of Transportation, which now owns the tracks, and they did not yet release the name of the dead worker.
