Porcupine Soup reports that Jay Cahalan was appointed chairman of the board by the Board of Directors of Greene County Bancorp, Inc. and Tejraj Hada was picked as board director, Donald Gibson, president and CEO, announced recently. Cahalan succeeds Paul Slutzky after he announced his retirement last year. Slutzky had served on the board of directors since 1992 and was named chairman of the Greene County bank in 2020. Cahalan is retiring as the president and CEO of Columbia-Memorial Health, the local hospital. Hada owns a Five Guys Burgers and Fries franchise. Read the full story at Porcupine Soup.
