Donald Drumpf Theatre Volume 152 Articles of Impeachment (Audio)
Dec 12, 2019
Produced by Tom Roe.
Volume 152 Articles of Impeachment. This week our hero gets two articles.
Thanks this week for the songs from The Late Show ("The Impeachment Club"); Bob Dylan ("It's Alright, Ma I'm Only Bleeding"); Clips and excerpts from Rod Serling; Rudy Giuliani; Jerrold Nadler; Doug Collins; Jimmy Kimmel; Nancy Pelosi; Stephen Colbert; Kate Bolduan; Trevor Noah; Princess Leia; Paul Rudd; Jimmy Fallon; James Corden; Alec Baldwin; Seth Meyers; Bane; Jim Jordan; Daniel Goldman; Eric Swalwell; Gordon Sondland; Mick Mulvaney; Lou Dobbs; Erin Burnett; Christopher Wray; Stephanie Ruhle; Thanos; Chris Hayes; and Luke Skywalker. An original radio theatre show each week, with most sounds culled from the previous week, about a fictional, theatrical presidency. Contradictions tell the story, with songs, skits, and clips from political news shows and late-night comedy routines. The definition of "radio theatre" is stretched here, with an updated Dickie Goodman and/or Richard Foreman-meets-mashup style sometimes, and a more straightforward take other weeks. Currently airing on 30 or 40 stations around the world, the network has ordered another 10 episodes, but with impeachment cancellation is possible at any moment. Anyone who would like to work on a production, or have their work air in this timeslot, should contact info@wgxc.org.
